Where it all began…

Founded in 2013 by Kristi Ison, Houston’s Float Baby (the first baby spa in the USA) quickly became a trusted resource for parents. Kristi, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and mom of two, understood the challenges of newborn sleep, feeding, and fussiness. After a 2016 Shark Tank appearance, Float Baby gained national attention. Kristi went on to patent her own flotation device (The Hoverfish®) and launch an organic baby skincare line + European formula import company (Formula 911).

In 2023, growing demand for parties and events inspired Kristi’s next venture: Party Baby. Starting in the Float Baby space and now located across from West U Elementary, near Tiny’s No. 5 and Little Matt’s, Party Baby has already hosted more than 250 celebrations. From birthday parties to special mommy & me events (including Galentine’s with KHOU’s Chita Craft and a Spooky celebration with Justin Verlander + Kate Upton), Kristi has mastered the art of creating unforgettable experiences.
